These are powerful tools — but only if your body has actually rehearsed them. Tonight is built around practice, not more information.
Guided movement and breath work — the same techniques you'll reach for during contractions, practised until they're familiar in your body
A mind-anchoring practice, including mantra, to help you stay steady under real physical effort
Relaxation and visualisation, to help you soften and recover between contractions
A take-home card with some of the tools we practise together, so you can keep rehearsing before the day
About Bianca
Bianca is a Women's Health Pilates Specialist and Birth Doula, and the founder of The Collective W. After years supporting pregnant women through movement and birth, she created Embodied4™ — a small, guided pregnancy program launching this September at Bhav.
Why this evening exists
By now, you've probably read the books and done a birth class — you know the stages of labour, you've practised the breathing on paper. That knowledge matters. It's the foundation everything else sits on.
But there's a difference between knowing a tool and being able to reach for it mid-contraction. This evening is built for that gap — a space to actually feel these tools in your body, rehearse them alongside other women preparing for the same thing, and walk away with them in your muscles, not just your notes.
It's not a hospital class, and it's not another information session. It's a space to practise, connect, and arrive feeling ready — whatever kind of birth you're preparing for.
Cancellation Policy:
In the event that you are unable to attend the workshop, we do require a minimum of 24 hours notice for cancellations. In such case a credit note will be held on your account. Late cancellations & no shows incur full fee. Fully booked/sold out workshops will only be credited if the place can be transferred to another student.
