We empower students to practice a mix of classes, depending on what your body & mind needs.
TRADITIONAL HATHA
Traditional Hatha Yoga is a slower-paced, deeply transformative practice that places equal emphasis on the physical, energetic, and spiritual dimensions of yoga. With fewer postures and longer holds, the practice invites you to move beyond simply doing poses and into a state of deeper awareness and presence. This measured approach develops steadiness of mind, cultivates vital energy, and builds the inner fire required for growth, discipline, and self-mastery. Rather than seeking external achievement, Traditional Hatha encourages an inward journey toward balance, clarity, and connection.
Using asana as its foundation, these classes weave together the broader teachings of the yogic tradition, incorporating powerful Tantric practices such as Pranayama (breathwork), Bandha (energetic locks), Mudra (sacred gestures), Mantra (sound vibration), and Meditation. These techniques work together to awaken and direct prana, creating profound shifts in both body and consciousness. As the signature style of Bhav, Traditional Hatha Yoga offers far more than physical exercise—it is a complete practice for personal transformation. For those seeking meaningful growth, greater self-understanding, and lasting evolution, this tradition provides a clear and time-tested path.
VINYASA KRAMA
Our Vinyasa classes are built around the conscious connection of breath and movement, creating a flowing practice that is both purposeful and transformative. Rather than moving randomly from one posture to the next, each sequence is thoughtfully designed to guide you towards a specific outcome. This may be a peak posture that develops strength, mobility, balance, or coordination, or it may be an energetic intention such as grounding, vitality, clarity, expansion, or inner calm. The breath acts as the thread that weaves the practice together, helping to cultivate presence, focus, and a deeper connection to yourself.
This practice is open and accessible to everyone, with options to both simplify and deepen postures depending on your experience and needs. Whether you are new to yoga, returning after time away, or have an established practice, there is space for you to participate in a way that feels supportive and sustainable. A general level of fitness can be beneficial, particularly as the classes can be physically engaging, but many students also use Vinyasa as a way to build strength, flexibility, cardiovascular health, and resilience over time. Beyond the physical benefits, the practice offers an opportunity to develop greater awareness, concentration, and a sense of ease that extends well beyond the mat.
YIN YOGA
Yin Yoga is an invitation to slow down and embrace the wisdom of time. Postures are held passively for longer periods, allowing the body to soften rather than strive. Through grounded stillness and conscious breathing, the deeper layers of connective tissue gradually release, creating greater space, mobility, and ease throughout the body. As the pace slows, the nervous system is given the opportunity to shift out of a constant state of doing and into a state of rest, repair, and recalibration.
With its focus on the fascia, connective tissues, ligaments, and joints, Yin Yoga complements more dynamic forms of movement and supports long-term physical health and resilience. The practice is accessible to all ages, abilities, and body types, making it an ideal choice for those seeking rest, relaxation, rehabilitation, or simply a gentler approach to movement. Beyond the physical benefits, Yin offers a rare opportunity to cultivate patience, presence, and inner stillness, helping to restore balance in both body and mind.
SOMATIC SESSIONS
Somatic Sessions help guide you out of the busyness of the mind and into the body, where healing can happen. By surrendering to movement, breath, and sound, this aids support, regulation and repair of the nervous system, strengthening the vagus nerve and helping with down-regulation from stress and anxiousness. Healing requires feeling, and feeling happens in the body through sensations. When the body does not feel safe, or emotions feel overwhelming, there is a tendency to escape back into the programmed mind. Yet it is often the mind with its habitual stories, and distorted beliefs that stand in the way of healing.
Through somatic practice, we reconnect with the innate intelligence that lives within us and learn to listen, trust, and respond to subtle guidance. The breath becomes a gateway, awakening primordial sound and inspiring natural movement that arises from within. In a world that often fails to honour the many facets of our human essence, somatic practices offer a pathway back to our organic, intuitive truth, the wisdom of the body. From this place, clarity emerges, and we learn to move forward with greater certainty, authenticity, and self-trust.

Men’s Yoga is a welcoming and supportive space designed specifically for men to improve their physical and mental health, wellbeing, and overall quality of life through the practice of yoga. Whether you are completely new to yoga or have some experience, this class meets you where you are. Many men are drawn to yoga to address common challenges such as tight hips, stiff shoulders, lower back discomfort, poor mobility, stress, and the physical demands of work, sport, and everyday life. Beyond the physical benefits, Men’s Yoga provides an opportunity to slow down, reconnect, and develop greater self-awareness in an environment free from pressure or expectation. Classes may incorporate elements of traditional yoga including breathwork, mindfulness, and relaxation practices to help regulate the nervous system, improve focus, and cultivate a greater sense of calm and clarity. PRANAYAMA & MEDITATION
Pranayama & Meditation is a deeply nourishing practice designed to cultivate clarity, vitality, and inner stillness. The class begins with gentle movement to awaken the body, release tension, and prepare the mind for deeper work. From there, the majority of the practice is spent seated, exploring traditional breathwork techniques and meditation methods that have been refined and passed down through the yogic tradition for thousands of years. As the body settles and the breath becomes more conscious, the mind naturally follows, creating the conditions for greater focus, balance, and presence.
Often described as the heart of yoga, Pranayama works directly with prana—the vital life force that animates and sustains us. Through specific breathing practices, we learn to regulate energy, calm the nervous system, sharpen concentration, and create a stronger connection between body, mind, and spirit. Meditation then provides the opportunity to move beyond the distractions of everyday life and cultivate deeper awareness, peace, and insight. Suitable for all levels of experience, this class offers practical tools for managing stress, improving mental clarity, and developing a more meaningful and consistent inner practice. Whether you are seeking greater wellbeing, spiritual growth, or simply a moment of stillness in a busy world, Pranayama & Meditation provides a powerful pathway inward.
