Meet Chris

Chris’s journey into yoga began not from curiosity, but necessity — a body worn down by two decades of footy, weight training, CrossFit, and relentless high-intensity training. What began as rehabilitation soon became revelation. Yoga offered something no other discipline had: strength without aggression, intensity without depletion, and a depth that reached far beyond the physical.

With a background as a master trainer and group fitness instructor, the transition into teaching was natural. Sharing the clarity, energetic shift, and profound sense of coming home he experienced through practice became his calling.

Over the years, Chris has completed more than 2,000 hours of formal training, studying extensively in Traditional Hatha and Tantra under respected teachers, most recently Octavio Salvado of The Practice. This immersion transformed his understanding of yoga from exercise into a path of energetic refinement, mental discipline, and inner evolution.

Chris is the founder of Bhav Yoga School, where he now trains teachers to move beyond choreography and performance, and into intelligent, purposeful, energetically-informed teaching. He believes this return to depth — to lineage, to subtlety, to inner transformation — is the future of yoga.

His teaching spans strong, conscious Vinyasa to slow, meditative, deeply internal practices. Known for his calm presence and grounded authority, Chris has a rare ability to guide students into spaces within themselves they didn’t know existed. Through subtle cues, intelligent sequencing, energetic awareness, and spacious stillness, he creates containers where practice becomes more than movement — it becomes self-study, refinement, and transformation.

For Chris, yoga is not fitness. It is a lifelong path of self-excellence, responsibility, and awakening — and he is devoted to preserving and transmitting it with integrity.
