40 DAY CHALLENGE - Week 3, EXPANSION
As our sensitivity to Prana deepens, we begin to recognise it not as something abstract, but as a living, tangible force moving within us. With awareness established, the next stage is not accumulation, but capacity — our ability to be with, hold, and skilfully work with energy without overwhelm or dispersion.
Expansion, in this sense, is the gradual widening of our inner container. We learn how to build Prana, contain it, shape it, and gently direct it toward specific regions of the body. As this capacity matures internally, it naturally extends outward, influencing how we meet the world and shape a life of meaning, clarity, and purpose.
This week we work closely with Pran Vayu — the inward-moving, revitalising life force that governs receiving. Located primarily in the heart and head, Pran Vayu nourishes the brain, lungs, sensory organs, and immune function. It is the current that allows us to take in breath, impressions, inspiration, and life itself. When balanced, it enhances vitality, sharpens the senses, and increases our capacity to truly receive — not only oxygen and nourishment, but experience, insight, and guidance.
Expansion can also be understood as expanded awareness. Rather than becoming scattered, awareness becomes both broader and more refined. We are able to perceive subtle details within the pranic field while simultaneously holding a wider perspective. Like a well-drawn map, this expanded perception gives us greater orientation, agency, and discernment as we move through life.
Join us in the studio this week as we explore Expansion — expanding awareness, expanding sensitivity, and expanding our capacity to be with Prana and allow it to move us from the inside out.
